Donuts (from bisquits)
My mom would make these for me and my sister ever now and again, and now I'm making them for my little family ♡
Steps
- 1
Heat oil in pan, or fryer if you have one, to 375°F or when you dip a wooden handle in oil, it bubbles
- 2
Mix sugar and cinnamon
- 3
Use a small cookie cutter, bottle cap, or a very sharp knife to make holes in the center of the bisquits
- 4
Drop no more than 4 donuts at a time so they don't stick together
- 5
Flip the donuts when they are golden brown on bottom, about a minute or two, and do the same with the top side
- 6
Drain grease on paper towels and dip donuts in cinnamon sugar mixture
