You have to use "Plantain Bananas" to get the best result. I have never tried this recipe with any other bananas. So I don't know about it. Use ripe bananas. I've seen people adding sugar to the batter along with crushed cardamom. I like it better this way. Added a pinch of turmeric for the colour 😁

4Ripe Plantain Bananas
1 cupAll Purpose Flour
1 pinchBaking Powder
2 pinchSalt
Water

Slice the bananas into thin (long or short) pieces.

Pour water into the flour & make a thick batter without any lumps. Add salt & baking powder into it.

Heat some oil. Dip the bananas in the batter, covering both sides. Deep fry or shallow fry as you wish.
