Oatmeal Cookies with Pear and Cinnamon

I wanted to make some healthy cookies—the kind you can snack on without too much guilt, with just a little sugar, some fruit, and no butter. It almost seemed impossible, right? But I found the answer...

Oats are perfect for these kinds of "healthy" cookies. You use less flour, and oats are packed with vitamins and minerals. They're also very filling, so having them for breakfast gives you energy to start your day. I always try to keep a few in a container for when I get really hungry...

Since I had a lot of pears at home, I decided to use them for these cookies, and the combination turned out delicious. You could try making them with another fruit, like apples, and the result should be very similar.

Want to give them a try?
