Ingredients

  1. 4Potatoes, peeled
  2. 425 gramsCaned Tuna in Spring Water
  3. 1 largeCarrot, grated
  4. 1Celery stick, finely diced
  5. 1as needed Plain flour, to dust
  6. 1as needed Oil, to Fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the potatoes in a saucepan of boiling water until soft. Drain well and mash.

  2. 2

    In a bowl, combine the tuna and mashed potato using hands to make easier. Mix in the carrot an celery.

  3. 3

    Place some flour on a plate and divide the mixture into 8 portions. Shape each portion into a patty using hands. Coat both sides lightly in the flour.

  4. 4

    Heat a little oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. In batches, cool the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden. Transfer to a plate lined with paper towel to drain. Serve with a side or salad or vegetables.
