Ingredients

  1. 200 gramspotatoes - peeled and diced
  2. 100 gramsgrated cheese (something light, e.g. mild Cheddar)
  3. 75 gramsfrozen peas
  4. 2 packagesparsley sauce (I use colmans)
  5. 150 gramswhite pollock (chopped into cubes)
  6. 1/4 pintsmilk
  7. 1/4 stickbutter
  8. 1 pinchsalt and pepper

    preheat oven to gas 5

  2. 2

    boil potatoes in pan of lightly salted water until a knife breaks potato easily

  3. 3

    begin part cooking fish in a steamer for 8-10 minutes

  4. 4

    start simmering peas on a medium heat for 8-10 minutes

  5. 5

    follow instructions on parsley sauce mix. Take off heat

  6. 6

    Once fish is cooked, lay evenly into a 9x5" baking dish. Drain peas and stir into parsley sauce.

  7. 7

    Once potatoes are ready, add milk and butter, season to taste and mash to desired consistency

  8. 8

    Pour parsley sauce mixture over fish evenly. Top with mashed potato and spread out evenly with base of a fork

  9. 9

    Bake in oven for 20 minutes, sprinkle over cheese and finish under grill until cheese starts to crisp. Serve with veg!
