Ingredients

  1. 5 tbspButter, at room temperature
  2. 150 gramsSugar
  3. 2 smalleggs
  4. 100 gramsFlour
  5. 1 pinchSalt
  6. 150 gramsRicotta cheese, softened
  7. 1Zest of a lemon
  8. 3/4 tbspBaking powder
  9. 1/2Apple, peeled cored and grated (approximately 100 grams)

    Heat the oven at 400°F.

  2. 2

    Cream the butter and the sugar until smooth and fluffy

  3. 3

    Add the eggs one after the other at a low speed.

  4. 4

    Cut the ricotta with a tablespoon and mix with the sugar and butter until smooth.

  5. 5

    Slowly add the flour, baking powder, salt and apple and fold with a spatula until just combined.

  6. 6

    Pour the batter in a pan and bake for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the edges start to pull away from the pan.
