Mini Cheeseburgers/Sliders
I need to know what goes in my families food - buy farm fresh where possible - with kids it's not always possible!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put all of the patty ingredients into a bowl and mix together - I use my hands as I can break down the beef and make sure the flavors evenly combined
- 2
Divide the mixture into 8 even sections
- 3
Working with one section at a time, split it in 2 and on a wet surface (to keep the patties moist and moving freely), with wet hands press the 2 halves into thin patties about 3 inches in diameter
- 4
Take a slice of cheese and fold in half, then in half again so you have a small square and place in the centre of one of the patties
- 5
Cover with the other patty and work the edges together, shaping and sealing and ensuring that no cheese is showing
- 6
Repeat until all 8 cheese filled patties are ready for frying
- 7
Add to a hot frying pan or griddle and cook one side for 5 minutes, don't lift it, you want it to get a crust and seal in the juices
- 8
Add the onions to the pan and allow to cook in the fat that comes out of the meat
- 9
In a small bowl mix together the ketchup and soy sauce (and mayo if using)
- 10
After 5 minutes cooking time carefully flip the patties and cook 5 minutes on other side. This is best done in an uncovered pan as the steam may loosen the patties allowing the cheese to burst out
- 11
Slice buns, add patties fried onions and a spoonful of sauce - enjoy - snack sized patties for 8 or dinner for 4

Mini Muffaletta (sliders) Mini Muffaletta (sliders)
For those who don't know, "...The muffuletta is both a type of round Sicilian sesame bread and a popular sandwich originating among Italian immigrants in New Orleans, Louisiana using the same bread..." - Wikipedia. It generally contains 3 types of Italian sandwich meat (usually salami, mortadella, capicola), 2 types of cheese (mozzarella and provolone), and always has a delicious olive and pickled veggie tapenade adorning the top and bottom.~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~ ~~~Living near Kansas City, MO we make it a point to visit the River Front Market several times a year to plan a few meals around fresh and unique buys we find there. On our most recent trip I made a point to buy everything I needed for a Muffaletta (except the bread) from the Italian grocer there. Sadly, nowhere around KC have I been able to find a good loaf of Muffaletta bread, and I just don't have the time to make it from scratch... SOOOO I decided to just modify a recipe I found online and make some Muffaletta inspired sliders instead. All the flavor in personal sized bites. StephieCanCook -

Roast Beef & cheese sliders Roast Beef & cheese sliders
Had leftover slider buns to use up. One teen wanted turkey other one wanted roast beef, used the lunch meat that I had on hand and cheese. Everything can be substituted. Can be made ahead of time/or night or right then and there. Can also set frozen fruit out overnight to thaw or like me pop in the microwave for 30 sec at a time when in a pinch. Easy lunch. Using leftovers. snackle time -

So I came up with this right around the time I came up with my pretzel rolls. I knew I had to have a good burger to go with it so this is what I got!! It is a lil pricey so if u like u could use regular ground beef, I would use 80/20. They are so moist n juicy and sooo delicious! alisha
