Cooked up a whole chicken,only used a little so i saved it to make a casserole, no waste. Do not throw away the chicken bones use to make fresh chicken stock.

Ingredients

  1. 5 lbroasted whole chicken
  2. 4carrots chopped
  3. 2celery sticks chopped
  4. 2 largeonions, chopped
  5. 3 lbpeeled halved potatoes
  6. 3dried bay leaves
  7. 2 tbspmixed dried herbs
  8. 1 tbspgarlic powder
  9. 2 tbsppaprika
  10. 2chicken stock cubes
  11. salt and pepper
  12. enough water to cover everything

Cooking Instructions

    Start by removing all the meat from the chicken and put into a large casserole pot.

    Chop all the veg (carrots, celery, onions and potatoes) add to pot.

  3. 3

    Add all the herbs and spices (mixed herbs, garlic powder, bay leaves, paprika, salt and pepper). Add chicken stock cubes.

    Cover with enough water to cover all the ingredients, and stir well, then place in oven at 160℃/ 320℉ and cook for 60-90 minutes until potatoes are softened.

    Check for seasoning and serve enjoy!!!
