Ingredients

  1. 1 tbspmargarine
  2. 2 smallcloves of garlic
  3. 1 tbspall-purpose flour
  4. 1 1/3 cupskim milk (can use any milk, I prefer skim or almond milk)
  5. 2 tbspcream cheese (can use light cream cheese if you want)
  6. 1 1/4 cupgrated parmesan cheese (save some for the top!)
  7. 4 cupof whatever pasta you love most! (cooked)
  8. 2 tspparsley
  9. 2 pinchfreshly ground pepper

  1. 1

    Cook pasta according to directions on the box. When cooked, drain and set aside

  2. 2

    In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt margarine

  3. 3

    Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until the garlic is golden and you can smell it

  4. 4

    Stir in flour. Wait a couple of seconds so the flour can combine/cook. Then slowly add in milk, stirring constantly for 8 minutes with a wire whisk until the mixture is thick and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Stir in cream cheese and cook for 2 more minutes. Then add most of the parmesan cheese and stir til the cheese is combined

  6. 6

    Add in parsley and pepper, stir

  7. 7

    Pour cheese mixture over the pasta and serve! :) (don't forget to add the extra cheese ontop!)

  8. 8

    Optional ingredients: cooked zucchini, broccoli or rosted cherry tomatoes. Just throw them in at the end!
