These cookies are a childhood favorite of mine. Later, I loved making them for my kids. My second oldest daughter always got mixed up and called them "Daisy Bee Cookies," which, if you ask me, is a cute name for these delicious bites of chocolatey goodness!

These cookies are a childhood favorite of mine. Later, I loved making them for my kids. My second oldest daughter always got mixed up and called them "Daisy Bee Cookies," which, if you ask me, is a cute name for these delicious bites of chocolatey goodness!

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa. Stir in milk and place over medium heat.

Add butter and stir occasionally until butter is completely melted.

Bring mixture to a rolling boil. Boil for exactly one minute.

Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter. Add vanilla extract and oats. Stir until just combined.

Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls or a cookie scoop onto wax paper or foil. Allow to cool until firm enough to eat.
