
Crockpot bacon cheeseburger tater tot casserole

In a large skillet, fry the bacon, remove and crumble or dice. Drain the bacon grease and add the ground beef, onion and garlic. Break up the meat and cook till the pink is gone. Drain the grease if any.

Sprinkle the flour over the meat and stir in well. Add the milk, Worcestershire sauce, bacon and hot sauce (if desired). Cook for several minutes till thickened.

Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese, vegetables and sour cream.

Place some tater tots in the bottom of the slow cooker. Pour the meat mixture over the tots. Arrange the rest of the tots as a layer on top. Cover and cook on low for 3-3 1/2 hours.

In the final 15 minutes, add extra cheddar cheese on top to melt if desired.
