Blondie's Mom's Chocolate Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

  1. 4 cupsweetened grated coconut
  2. 1(14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  3. 3 ozunsweetened chocolate, melted
  4. 1 tspvanilla extract ( I use extra )

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350 ° F.

    Grease 2 baking sheets well.

  3. 3

    Combine coconut, chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla in a large bowl.

    Mix well.

  5. 5

    Drop by teaspoonfuls, about 1 inch apart, onto baking sheets.

  6. 6

    Bake just until firm and tips of coconut have started to brown, about 10 minutes.

    Remove to cooling rack immediately.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
