Ingredients

  • 4 tbspButter
  • 1 cupAll Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 cupSugar
  • 1 tspBaking Powder
  • 1 pinchCinnamon
  • 1 cupMilk
  • 1/4 tspVanilla Extract
  • 1 can (21 oz) Cherry Pie Filling
  • 1/4 tspSugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in 8x8 inch pan while preheating oven.

  2. 2

    Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon in bowl. Mix well. Add milk and vanilla and stir until smooth.

  3. 3

    Pour flour mixture over melted butter in pan. DO NOT STIR.

  4. 4

    Pour cherry pie filling over batter. DO NOT STIR.

  5. 5

    Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes. Sprinkle sugar over cobbler and bake for 10-15 more minutes.
