Slice jalapeños in half and remove seeds.

Mix cheddar and cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl

Slice bacon in half

Fill jalapeños with cheese mixture

Wrap jalapeño with a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick

Place on a foil covered bacon sheet and bake in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes or until bacon is crispy

Move preserves to microwaveable safe bowl and heat for 15 - 30 seconds, stirring occasionally until liquified

Remove the poppers from the oven and brush preserve on top

Return to oven and bake for 5 - 10 minutes, until preserve caramelizes

Remove from oven, let cool, and serve
