Ingredients

  1. 1 packagesTri-Coloured Artisan Pasta
  2. 1 ozextra virgin olive oil, coconut oil or avocado oil
  3. 2shallots
  4. 2garlic cloves
  5. 1 lbground turkey
  6. 1 tbspItalian seasoning
  7. 4smoked Italian sausages
  8. 3 cuppassata
  9. 1 1/2 cupspinach
  10. 1 bunchbasil
  11. 1parmesan cheese
  12. 1crushed chilies (ootional)
  13. 1sea salt
  14. 1fresh cracked pepper

Steps

30 mins
  1. 1

    Heat oil in pan and add shallots - sweat for 2 minutes. Add minced garlic sweat for additional 2 minutes on medium-high heat

    Brown the ground turkey and add Italian seasoning to meat for flavouring (approximately 7 minutes)

    Cook pasta in a pot of salted water with olive oil per package directions

    Add sausages to ground turkey and heat for 2 to 3 minutes

    While meat mixture is heating through, chifinade spinach and basil before adding to sauce

    Add passata to meat to build sauce and simmer for 10 - 12 minutes.

    Drain cooked pasta and run under cold water to stop cooking process

    Add pasta to sauce, toss and add salt, pepper, Parmesan cheese and chilies to taste
