Candied Pumpkin (No Limewater Needed)

Prepare the ingredients. Cut the pumpkin into pieces and wash thoroughly.

Bring water to a boil, then add the sugar and stir until dissolved.

Once the sugar has dissolved, add the lime juice.

When the syrup is boiling, add the pumpkin pieces.

Gently turn the pumpkin pieces occasionally. Simmer for about 50 minutes, depending on the amount of pumpkin.

Let cool before serving. Enjoy chilled, and for extra flavor, drizzle with coconut milk if desired.
