Simple shrimp sauce for pasta. Very fresh tasting flavorful dish.
Steps

Start to heat water for pasta in a large pot. While water heats up, gently saute garlic and half parsley in oil.

Rinse the whole shrimp in cold running water.

Once water reaches boiling point add salt, then add pasta. Stir occasionally.

Add shrimp to pan and cover well. Stir only to cook evenly.

Once the shrimp change color, remove from heat, but keep the cover on pan.

Check pasta mid way through cooking time and taste. Add more salt if needed. Water should have the flavor of sea water/ pasta should have a firm and slightly salty taste.

Once the pasta is cooked, drain water immediately and combine with the shrimp.

Remove garlic cloves, garnish with the remaining parsley and serve immediately.

(Extra to compare from step 6) This is a picture of what the pasta will look like "al dente." It will still have the white internal ring, but you will easily be able to bite through with just a slight resistance:
