Ingredients

  1. 1 bundleasparagus
  2. 3/4 Cwhite wine
  3. 1/2 tgarlic powder
  4. 1/2 tonion powder
  5. 1lemon; zested
  6. as neededolive oil
  7. as neededkosher salt and black pepper

  1. 1

    Trim asparagus where stalk cracks.

  2. 2

    Combine asparagus and wine. Marinate up to 24 hours.

  3. 3

    Dry off asparagus.

  4. 4

    Coat with olive oil. Add dried spices except lemon zest.

  5. 5

    Roast at 400º for approximately 20 minutes or until asparagus is tender, or grill asparagus until tender.

  6. 6

    Garnish with lemon zest.

  7. 7

    Variations; Lemon-pepper seasoning, fresh oregano or basil, or toss with caramelized onion or shallots

great taste, I would recommend not grilling unless you are using gas.
