Chop the Makhane into 4-5 small pieces.Thinly slice the almonds

Roast the Makhane in a pan with a tsp of ghee for 3-4 minutes.Stir constantly till light brown in colour. Transfer them in a bowl.

Now place the milk in a vessel to boil on a medium flame.

Add Makhane, almonds in the milk as it starts boiling.Stir it gently and cook till it thickens.

When it thickens add sugar and Cardamom powder to the kheer.Mix well.

Makhana kheer is ready Off the flame.

Transfer it in a Serving bowl.

Serve Makhana kheer to your loved ones on festivals.
