My husband works weekend nights, so weekends require quick, easy meals that don't take a lot of pan banging. I also have a very active 4yr old, so the quicker, the better. I had these rice side dishes at home and jazzed them up.

My husband works weekend nights, so weekends require quick, easy meals that don't take a lot of pan banging. I also have a very active 4yr old, so the quicker, the better. I had these rice side dishes at home and jazzed them up.

Start with a pot that is big enough to hold all of the ingredients. This is a one pot dish 😃

Cook sausage with peppers and onions, according to sausage package.

When sausage is done, in the same pan, add the water and your rice packets.
- 4
Cook rice according to directions on the package.
- 5
When finished, add the crab meat. Let sit for a few minutes to allow sauce to thicken and crab to be warmed through.
