Ingredients

  • 2 tbspVegetable oil
  • 2 lbGround chuck
  • 10 ozCan French onion soup
  • 21 ozCan red kidney beans undrained
  • 8 ozCan tomato sauce
  • 6 ozCan tomato paste
  • 1 tbspChili powder
  • 2 tspGround cumin
  • 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  • 3 dashTabasco sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the beef in the oil, breaking up as it cooks; set aside.

  2. 2

    Purée soup in a blender; pour over beef.

  3. 3

    Stir remaining ingredients into pot.

  4. 4

    Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for at least 30 to 40 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serves 4-6
