Ingredients

  1. 2 tbspVegetable oil
  2. 2 lbGround chuck
  3. 10 ozCan French onion soup
  4. 21 ozCan red kidney beans undrained
  5. 8 ozCan tomato sauce
  6. 6 ozCan tomato paste
  7. 1 tbspChili powder
  8. 2 tspGround cumin
  9. 1/2 tspBlack pepper
  10. 3 dashTabasco sauce

Steps

  1. 1

    In a large pot over medium-high heat, brown the beef in the oil, breaking up as it cooks; set aside.

  2. 2

    Purée soup in a blender; pour over beef.

  3. 3

    Stir remaining ingredients into pot.

  4. 4

    Simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, for at least 30 to 40 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serves 4-6
