These little candies are sinfully rich and delicious! Perfect for a sweet treat for Christmas. If you prepare Christmas tins filled with cookies for parties, family and or friends this is a perfect addition!

Ingredients

  1. 2 cupcreamy peanut butter
  2. 1/2stick butter (unsalted) softened
  3. 3 3/4 cuppowdered sugar (16oz. box)
  4. 2 cupsemi sweet chocolate morsels
  5. 2 tbspvegetable oil
  6. 1wax paper
  7. 2large cookie sheets

Cooking Instructions

    Line 2 large baking sheets with wax paper.

    Beat peanut butter and softened butter in large mixing bowl until creamy.

  3. 3

    Beat in powdered sugar until mixture holds together and is moistened. Shape into 1-inch balls, place on baking sheets lined with wax paper. Place in freezer for 1 hour.

    Just before you remove peanut butter balls from the freezer; melt chocolate morsels and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a bowl uncovered in the microwave on high for 1 minute. Add an additional 10-15 seconds if needed. Stir till smooth.

    Dip peanut butter centers in chocolate using a toothpick, leaving a small portion of the center uncovered. Shake off excess chocolate. Return to waxed baking sheets. With the back of a spoon gently smooth out holes created by the toothpick. Refrigerate until set. Place in covered containers and keep refrigerated.
