Ingredients

20 mins
  • 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tspground nutmeg
  • 1/8to 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cupchopped pecans, toasted
  • 10pecan halves
  • 1/2 cupcanned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1 packages(8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

    In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese and pumpkin with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy.

  2. 2

    Stir in cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and chopped pecans.

  3. 3

    Spread cheese mixture on a serving plate or ungreased 9 inch glass pie plate.

  4. 4

    Cut 3 pecans in half lengthwise and position 3 pieces for each eye.

  5. 5

    Arrange 5 pecans for the mouth and 1 pecan for the nose.

  6. 6

    Place remaining pecan on top for the stem.

  7. 7

    Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours.

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
