Ingredients

  1. 4Smaller squash from local grocer
  2. 1Sometimes like to use zucchini and squash.
  3. 1/2(if using bigger garden squash)
  4. 1Jumbo onion
  5. 1Olive oil
  6. 1fresh grated parmesan cheese (the already grated stuff won't be the same)
  7. 1Salt and pepper
  8. 1onion powder
  9. 1garlic powder
  10. 1 1/2 stickbutter

    Slice squash. Place in a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Slice the onion. Always works better if they are left sliced and not diced. But however you prefer. Put in baking dish with squash.

    Pre heat oven to 350°F.

  4. 4

    add seasonings to where the squash and onions are lightly covered.

  5. 5

    Drizzle olive oil over top of dish. Careful not to use too much because you'll be using butter too.

  6. 6

    Mix the seasonings and olive oil through the squash and onion. I usually just use my hands. It works better.

  7. 7

    Grate the parmesan cheese covering the dish.

  8. 8

    Add 1 stick of padded butter spread over top the dish.

  9. 9

    It takes about 20-25 minutes to bake. About 15 minutes in, stir, and add more seasoning if desired and the other 1/2 stick of butter. Padded.
