Ingredients

6 servings
  1. 1 lbsmoked sausage I use four star from Georgia
  2. 2 lbpotatoes cubed Yukon Rose
  3. 1/2 lbbacon ends and pieces
  4. 2 largeonions coarsely chopped used Peruvian sweet onions
  5. 1 tspturmeric
  6. 1/2 tspground black pepper
  7. 1 1/2 tspsalt
  8. 2 tbspminced garlic
  9. 1 tspgranulated garlic powder
  10. 1/4 cupwater
  11. 1/2 cupshredded colby jack cheese
  12. 1/4 cupshredded asiago cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    put sausage and bacon in pan cook render the fat well on the bacon

    remove meat leaving fat and drippings

    add onions and potatoes spices and minced garlic

    stir well mixing and coating the potatoes and onions well

    cover cook till fork tender stirring occasionally so not to stick

  6. 6

    add meat back in stir well

  7. 7

    add water cover 1 minute stir this will lossen anything on bottom add Agiaso cheese and colby jack cheese cover let melt serve
