Ingredients

10 mins

5 servings

1 cupof cornmeal
1 cupof flour
1 tbspof sugar
2 tspof baking powder
1/2 tspof baking soda
1 dashof salt
1egg lightly beaten
1 canof corn
1 cupof milk
1 cupof grated cheddar cheese
2 1/2 cuppickled jalapeños with carrots finally chopped. give or take depending on how spicy you want it.
4 tbspof melted butter

preheat oven to 400

mix all ingredients except cheese

pour half of the mix into hot skillet

put a layer of cheese

pour other half of mix over cheese

place in oven cooking 20 to 25 minutes until top is golden brown
7

Take out of oven, let cool
8

slice and serve
