Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 1For the Homemade quark icecream with rhubarb and honey sauce.
  2. 250 gramsquark, mascarpone or creme fraiche
  3. 500 gramsfresh hulled strawberries , cut into halves or smaller pieces. Set a few whole ones aside for garnish
  4. 100 mlfresh double cream
  5. 1 tspsugar or more to taste
  6. 1good pinch each ground cinnamon and vanilla sugar
  7. 1 smallpinch ground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Clean, hull and cut the strawberries in half ,or smaller setting aside a few for garnish

  2. 2

    Mix the cream and the quark with the sugars, cinnamon and pepper

  3. 3

    Mix until the sugar is dissolved

  4. 4

    Add the strawberries and mix gently until the juices run.

  5. 5

    Divide into two portions and chill freeze for about 15 minutes then stir again gently. Put back in freezer. Until ready to eat . Take out 5-10 minutes before serving .
