This is a healthy food that catches ones fancy.. treat your guest or family to something nice.
Steps
- 1
Put a little oil in the pot, just enough to cover the base. Pour in the shredded beef. Spread this over the surface area of the pot.
- 2
Stir fry the beef and continuous stirring would allow the beef to release it's juice as stock to be used later.
- 3
Once cooked the beef colour changes from pink to brown. Remove the content from the pot separating the beef to a bowl and the stock to another.
- 4
Put the pot back to the heat and add some oil 2-3 tbsp.. once hot add the crushed garlic and immediately half portion of the peppers and half of the onions
- 5
Stirr continuously then pour in the beef.
- 6
Continue stirring so that the veggies would infuse it's flavours into the beef
- 7
Add the black bean paste or dilute it into the stock before pouring into the frying pot.
- 8
Stirr so that every part of the beef in the pot gets coated
- 9
Top up with a little water and let simmer for 3mins
- 10
Season as required once done.. pour in the thickner and stirr to go round
- 11
Add the remaining veggies and let cook for few min till your desired sauce consistency.
- 12
Your sauce is ready... serve with rice just as in the pictur
