Jalapeño Paprika

If you don't have a dehydrator, I am sure there is a way to do this in the oven. I just don't know what the temperature or time would be. A quick Google search will probably tell you everything you need to know.

If you don't have a dehydrator, I am sure there is a way to do this in the oven. I just don't know what the temperature or time would be. A quick Google search will probably tell you everything you need to know.
Steps
- 1
Prep the peppers by removing the stems, pith, and seeds. I usually use a spoon for the pith and seeds.
- 2
Quarter the peppers lengthwise and place them in the food dehydrator. If you just cut the peppers in half like I did, the peppers will curl up and take longer to dry.
- 3
Once the peppers become brittle dry, usually takes a little more than a day, place them in your food processor and process into a fine powder.
- 4
Bottle the jalapeno powder up and you are ready to use. I use this in my "Dee's Nutz" recipe.
