Ingredients

  • 1 cupSalted or plane boondi
  • 1/2 kgCurd
  • 2 tspRoasted cumin powder
  • 1 tsp or to tasteRed chili powder
  • 2Finely chopped green chili
  • 1 tbspChopped coriander
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 tspBlack salt
  • 1/2 tspHeeng powder
  • Finely chopped mint leaves or powdered mint
  • For tempering ----
  • Pinchheeng
  • 1 tspCumin seeds
  • 1/2 tspRed chili powder
  • 1 tspGhee

Steps

  1. 1

    Whisk yogurt till smooth. Add salt,black salt,cumin pwoder,chili,green chili,and heeng.

  2. 2

    Now add boondi, mix well. heat the ghee in a tadka pan add heeng, cumin and red chili powder as the splutter pour the tadka in raita. coriander and mint,cool it and serve with pulao,biryani or stuffed paratha.
