Ingredients

  • 1 cupssifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoonssalt
  • Dashnutmeg or cinnamon
  • 3egg yolks
  • 1 cupsmilk
  • 3egg whites
  • 2 tablespoonsbutter melted over hot water

Steps

  1. 1

    Sift flour and salt and nutmeg

  2. 2

    Beat egg whites till stiff

  3. 3

    Beat egg yolks

  4. 4

    Add milk and butter to egg yolks

  5. 5

    Then add to flour mix well

  6. 6

    Fold in egg whites

  7. 7

    Cook in hot greased pan or griddle

  8. 8

    Top with orange marmalade,current jelly,maple sugar mixed with a little cream or your favorite topping.
