Ingredients

  1. 8eggs (normally I buy large eggs, but I use medium for this)
  2. 1/4 cupbacon bits
  3. 1 canrefrigerated crescent roll dough
  4. 1salt to taste
  5. 1pepper to taste
  6. 6 ozof an 8 ounce package of cheddar or Colby cheese (I use a cheese block and slice my own slices)

Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. 2

    Spray muffin tin with non-stick spray.

  3. 3

    Place the crescent roll dough piece in the bottom of each muffin cup with the excess hanging out.

  4. 4

    Place a slice of cheese in each cup on the dough.

  5. 5

    Place a teaspoon of bacon bits in each cup.

  6. 6

    Crack an egg into each cup.

  7. 7

    Add salt and pepper.

  8. 8

    Pull the ends of the dough over the top of the egg.

  9. 9

    Bake for 25 minutes.

  10. 10

    *You can also put a few cheese shreds on the top before baking if desired.*

    **This makes 8 muffins.**

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
