My chili recipes turn out different every time, but this recipe was a favorite of my boyfriends. It has some spice without actually being HOT. Goes great with grated cheddar on top.

  1. Primary Ingredients
  2. 1 lb93/7 Ground Beef
  3. 1 canBush's Chili Pinto Beans with sauce
  4. 1 canBlack beans, drained and rinsed
  5. 1 tbspolive oil
  6. 28 ozDiced, canned tomatoes with juice
  7. 1onion, chopped
  8. 3jalepenos, diced
  9. 1red fresno pepper, diced
  10. Spices
  11. 1 tspground thyme
  12. 1/2 tspblack pepper
  13. 1/2 tbspsalt, or to taste
  14. 1/2 tspgarlic powder
  15. 3 tbspchili powder
  16. 1 tspground cumin
  17. 1/4 tspcayenne pepper
  18. 1/2 tspCajun seasoning

Cooking Instructions

    Brown beef in olive oil in a large pot

    Add all spices and stir

  3. 3

    Add prepared onions and peppers, stir

  4. 4

    Add tomatoes and beans. Stir well and cover.

  5. 5

    Let simmer 40-60 minutes
