Ingredients

  • 1 litremilk
  • 3 tablespoonscustard powder
  • 2serving spoons sugar
  • 1 table spoonhoney
  • 1 teaspoonelachi powder
  • fruits of your own choice

Steps

    Boil milk.

  2. 2

    In a small bowl,add custard powder and little cold milk.

  3. 3

    Mix well to avoid lumps.

  4. 4

    Add this to the boiled milk.

  5. 5

    Keep on high flame.

  6. 6

    Go on stirring.

  7. 7

    Don't leave the gas, chances of getting burnt or custard getting stuck are more now.

  8. 8

    After 10mins,Keep on slow flame.

  9. 9

    Check the consistency.

  10. 10

    Some prefer thin while others prefer thick.

  11. 11

    If you think it is thin add 1tablespoon more custard powder.

    Add sugar Boil for 10mins more.

    Adjust the taste.

    Close the flame.

    Pour it in a Thali.

  16. 16

    I make it cold under the fan to make work easier and faster.

    Once at room temperature,strain and add elachi powder and honey.

    Mix well.

    Cut fresh fruits and add to the custard.

    Transfer into a serving bowl.

    Keep in the fridge.

    Serve chilled.
