Steps

Wash and drain the chanadal and grind it in rough paste
Take warm water and add in rice flour and make a smooth dough - 2
Keep it for rest for half an hour
In the chanadal paste add chopped onions garlic green chilli coriander leaves cumin powder salt red chilli powder and asafoetida - 3
Make small balls of the rice dough and roll it in small puri and stuff in with the chanadal mixture
Make all the phara in same way
Take a steamer and grease the steam plate and arrange the prepared phara in it and let it steam for 20- 25 minutes - 4
Check it out with a knife inserting in it if comes out clean means the phara are cooked
Take them out and cut them in two or three pieces - 5
Fry it on high flame for few minutes and then take it out on serving plate
Garnish it with chopped coriander and serve it hot with green chutney
