Steps

Heat oil in a shallow wide pan. Add cardamom pods, mustard seeds and cinnamon stick. Heat until seeds start popping.

Add finely sliced onions. Cook until onions soften and turn translucent.

Add 5 tablespoons of water and allow to sizzle.

Add mix of chilli, coriander and turmeric powders. Mix well until slightly dry.

Place chicken on bottom of pan and fry on both sides.

Add water and mix. Leave to cook for 10 minutes.

Add seasoning chicken cubes and curry leaves. Leave to cook on slow heat until done.
