mix flour, baking soda, & salt in med. bowl. beat butter & sugars in large bowl with electronic beater on med speed until light and fluffy. add eggs & vanilla;mix well. stir in chocolate chips & walnuts

drop by rounded tablespoons about 2in. apart onto baking sheets

bake at 375 oven 8-10mins or until lightly browned.
