To make your regular custard more interesting add anjeer(fresh figs) pulp to the mixture and reduce sugar content by half.
Steps

Wash figs. Remove skin and put the pulp in the blender. Make a smooth pulp.

Boil 350 ml milk with sugar. To the remaining milk add custard powder and mix well.

Once the milk is boiled reduce the flame and let the milk thicken for 10 minutes more.

Add custard powder dissolved in milk and keep stirring continuously for 5 more minutes. Add cashew powder and cook for 1 more minute.

Remove from gas and add the anjeer pulp and mix it well till well blended.

Pour it in serving bowl. Decorate it with anjeer dices and nuts.
