Ingredients

  • 1medium brinjal/eggplant, cut crosswise into 1-inch thick rounds
  • 1/4 cupmustard oil
  • 1/2 tsprice flour (to make crispy)
  • 1/4 tspchilli flakes
  • as tasteSalt
  • 1/4 tspturmeric powder
  • 1/4 tspwhite pepper powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Prepare grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Rub brinjal/eggplant rounds on both sides with mustard oil. Sprinkle with salt, rice flour, turmeric powder and pepper. Grill until slightly charred, about 2 minutes per side.

    Sprinkle with chilli flakes and lemon juice to serve.
