Ingredients

  • 1 cupSoaked rice for 4 hours
  • 1/2 cupCurd
  • according to tasteSalt, sugar and lemon juice
  • For stuffing : Capsicum, cabbage, carrot, Green Chilli, onions
  • 1 teaspoonMayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoonMalai
  • 1 tablespoonHung Curd
  • according to tasteSalt or dal masala
  • for fryingOil
  • 2 cupsWater

Steps

  1. 1

    Grind soaked rice with curd and 2 cups water. Add remaining ingredients make thin batter.

  2. 2

    Cook in the microwave for 2 minutes. Remove it and beat the batter now. Again, cook for 2 minutes in the microwave. Repeat this process until batter becomes soft.

  3. 3

    Let the dough cool for sometime.

  4. 4

    Mix all the vegetables, mayonnaise, malai, hung curd to make the stuffing mixture.

  5. 5

    Take some portion from dough and spread on your hand and put one teaspoon stuffing and give it the shape of cutlets.

  6. 6

    Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the cutlets till they turn golden brown.

  7. 7

    Delicious stuffed hung curd rice cutlets are ready. Serve them with tomato ketchup or green chutney.
