Rooh afza cake

Tried flavouring a butter cake with nothing other than rooh afza. Cake was a little dense as I used wheat flour. Since I had used just one cup flour, my cake was quite small.

Tried flavouring a butter cake with nothing other than rooh afza. Cake was a little dense as I used wheat flour. Since I had used just one cup flour, my cake was quite small.

Preheat the oven to 180 C.

Grease a 6 inch square tray. You can use a loaf pan if you have one.

Sift flour, baking powder and salt twice.

Cream butter and sugar till combined. Add eggs and beat well.

Add milk and rooh afza. Beat till everything is evenly mixed.

Fold in the flour.

Pour in the baking tray. Bake for 40 minutes. Check the cake at 35 minutes for doneness.

Let the cake cool down completely before slicing.
