Ingredients

2 servings
  • 1 cupUrad dal
  • 2 cupRice
  • 1/2 cupGrated coconut
  • 1/2 cupJaggery
  • 1 teaspoonCardamom powder
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak the rice & urad dal overnight.

  2. 2

    Next day grind it.keep it for 6 hours for fermention.

  3. 3

    Add salt to batter.keep aside.

  4. 4

    Add jaggery, cardamom powder to the grated coconut.

  5. 5

    Heat the steamer.pour the batter in idli stand.

  6. 6

    Then grated coconut mixture used as topping over the idli
