preheat oven to 375°F.

brown ground meat and onion in a skillet.

remove bread slices from milk. retain milk and add more milk to make one cup. add bread to meat/onion mix and place in bottom of greased 9x13 pan.

mix milk, eggs, salt, pepper, curry, vinegar, sugar, chutney. pour over meat mix.

bake for 1 hour until center is cooked.

in sauce pan or rice cooker bring water to a boil, add rice, tumerick, and raisins. simmer until rice is cooked.

serve casserole over rice topped with choice of condiments
