Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 2leeks
  2. 6cumberland / toulouse sausage
  3. 4 slicesmoked back bacon
  4. 2 clovegarlic
  5. 1glass white wine
  6. 1 pinchchilli flakes
  7. 300 mlchicken stock
  8. 1 canbutter beans (rinsed & drained)
  9. 1 tspsunflower oil or spray oil equivalent
  10. 1 pinchblack pepper

Cooking Instructions

    bring oil to temperature in a large saucepan that has a lid and fry sausages until browned

  2. 2

    trim and chop leeks, dice bacon and peel garlic while sausages are cooking.

    once the sausages are done remove from pan and add bacon leeks and crushed garlic. using kitchen scissors and a fork cut sausages into about six pieces each and add back to the pan

    add glass of white wine to pan, stir, then add chili flakes

  5. 5

    add in the chicken stock, butter beans and a pinch of black pepper

  6. 6

    pop lid on the saucepan and leave to simmer for 30 minutes

  7. 7

    serve with mashed potato
