Ingredients

  1. 2/3 cupbutter
  2. 2 cupquick oats
  3. 1 cupgranulated sugar
  4. 2/3 cupall purpose flour
  5. 1/4 cupcorn syrup (light or dark)
  6. 1/4 cupmilk
  7. 1 tspvanilla
  8. 1/4 tspsalt
  9. 1 3/4 cup(11.5 oz) milk chocolate chips

Steps

    Preheat oven 375

  2. 2

    Line baking sheets with foil

  3. 3

    Melt butter in saucepan then remove from heat and add rest of the ingredients, EXCEPT CHOCOLATE

  4. 4

    Drop by level teaspoons and spread thin with rubber spatula

  5. 5

    Bake 6-8 minutes or until golden brown with 3 inch spacing. Take out, let cool then peel foil from cookies

  6. 6

    Microwave chocolate chips in 15 second intervals until melted, then spread on cookies and make thin sandwiches with them
