Ingredients

16 servings
  • 1 1/2 lbground beef
  • 2ribs of celery, chopped
  • 1 mediumonion, chopped
  • 1 can(46oz) tomato juice
  • 1 can(28oz) can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can(16Oz) kindney beans,risned and drained
  • 1 can(103/4oz) condensed tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1/2 cupwater
  • 2 tbspchili powder
  • 1 1/2 tbspbrown suger
  • 1salt and pepper to taste
  • 2bay leaves
  • 2 cupelbow macaroni cooked and drained

Steps

  1. 1

    in a larger pan-Dutch over cook the beef,celery and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink,drain as needed.

  2. 2

    add the tomato juice, tomatoes,beans,soup,water,chili powder,brown suger, bay leaves, salt and pepper. bring to boil. reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

  3. 3

    Stir in macaroni. cook uncovered,5minutes longer, or until heated through. discard bay leaves before serving
