Steps

Soak chana dal in water for almost 2 hours.keep aside.

In a cooker take dal and water pressure cook for 2-3 whistle.

All the spices powder and salt to the cooked dal.stir and add water if required.

Simmer for 7-8 minutes or more on a low flame till a medium consistency of the dal.

Keep the dal aside.

Add oil/ghee in a pan.

Crackle the cumin seeds then add green chillies and saute for minutes add hing.

Pour this sauteed mixture along with the oil in the dal.

Serve the steaming hot Sindhi dal with Pakwan.
