1 largecan, such as a large coffee can
15charcoal briquettes

Punch holes around the bottom of the can ( approx. 1" from the bottom and 1" apart.

Add chicken into coffee can, legs up. Its okay if legs stick out a little. Place on top of charcoal.

Place the charcoal in the campfire in selected area.

Let cook for approx 3 hours. After cooking the chicken will fall right off the bone ;) good eating!

Ideas for ahead of time: our family seasons chicken ahead of time then freezes. so when traveling and camping the chicken helps keep things cool and will be ready for dinner the next day. :)
