3 tbspbutter
1/2 lbsharp cheddar cheese..2 cups grated
4eggs
2 1/2 cupmilk
2 tbspprepared mustard
1 tspworchestershire sauce
1/2 tspsalt
1/2 tsppaprika

spread butter on bread slices...cut into lrg cubes. place 1/3 into 8 cup baking dish.

sprinkle w/1/3 of the cheese.. repeat with bread & cheese till gone.

beat eggs w/ milk.. mustard Worcestershire sauce..salt & peppet and paprika.

pour over bread & cheese..

cover and chill at least 3 hours.

bake uncovered until puffed and golden
