Cooking Instructions

Soak 1 cup Urad dal for 3 to 4 hours.

Grind it with little water to make smooth paste.

The batter should not become too thin...add 2 3 drops of orange color, 2 tbps corn starch and stir the batter for 2 min till it becomes fluffy.

Make a cone using Ziploc bag or use a small hole plastic bottle.

Deep fry the imartis from both the sides.

Make a one string consistency sugar syrup. (1 cup sugar + 1/2 cup waater)

Dip the imartis in syrup for 2 min.

Make sure syrup is warm.
Take out from syrup and serve.
